Framework weekly product update email — July 11th, 2022

Dear Friends of Framework,

Hope your week is off to a great start! They say distance makes the heart grow fonder. We missed you last Thursday 🤓 Did you miss us? We’ve been hard at work making improvements to Framework across the board. Here’s a summary of the latest improvements👇

🔗 Introducing custom domains!

  • Do you have a custom domain you’d like to use to host your Framework challenge? Starting today you can!
  • Customers on our Business Plan can now host their challenge and community on www.[yourdomain].com/. We’re excited to help you further professionalize your challenges and improve SEO.
If you’re ready to make the jump, after upgrading to our Business plan, you can go to Settings > Custom Domain to set up your custom domain.
  • Please get in touch if you are interested in upgrading to our Business plan and setting up a custom domain!

🗨️ Get community discussions ready for prime time before launch

  • Setting up a lively community discussion for your challenge before your participants arrive is an essential pre-launch step. We’re excited to have simplified this experience for Admins, who can now preview challenge spaces and create posts in the Challenge Builder view before publishing a challenge. This will give admins full visibility into what challenge participants will see when they begin a challenge 👀
  • Furthermore, the Challenge Builder can now be used to manage the community aspects of an active challenge, without needing to flip back and forth to the member view

👥 UI improvements to Spaces

  • We’ve made some exciting changes to the look and feel of our Spaces—our home for community discussions! Post images now stretch to take up the maximum available width, making Spaces look much more lively and vibrant. We also made changes to font size, drop shadow style, and improved padding.
Here’s a preview of what a post in our new Spaces looks like 💫

🐛 Bug Fixes and Minor Changes

  • Various padding improvements
  • Changes to the UI of the Challenge scheduler
  • Resolved long email addresses getting cut off in user profiles
  • Various improvements to the look and feel of the setup guide within the Admin dashboard
  • Simplification of content drip schedule UI

Thanks for taking the time to read through. We have a lot of exciting product updates coming out later this week, including an integration with a major platform 👀 Let us know if there’s anything you’re looking to achieve with a challenge that you’d like our guidance guidance on. So much more to come 🚀

Cheers,

Hannah
