Framework weekly product update email – June 30th, 2022

Dear Friends of Framework,

Building challenges just got a whole lot easier 🪄 See below for the big reveal! 👇

🎁 Introducing: Templates

  • Rather than build your first challenge from scratch, what if you had some world-class guidance that ensured you were putting your best foot forward? Admins can now get a head start on building the best possible challenge with our new collection of goal-oriented templates. These are our first of many templates to come, all of which will help challenge-builders on Framework reach their goals faster and with more confidence.
Upon creating a new challenge, admins will now find a template discovery page, which includes (for now) our six available templates—all of which they can click into to see a preview of the template.

📅 Join a challenge event

  • If an event has been added to a challenge, Members will now see that event at the top of their Lessons page. Any challenge participant will be automatically signed up for each event and able to add the event to their calendar by opening the event dialog.

🗓️ Improved challenge scheduling

  • Our previous “Drip Delay” settings weren’t very intuitive for challenges with a fixed start date (e.g. June 30th). Instead, you’d expect to be able to specify the date that each lesson would become available. Good news, now you can!
  • For fixed start challenges, we’ve renamed the "Drip Delay" column to "Schedule" and all admins to select specific dates for when lessons will become available.

🧹 Small changes

  • New admins are now prompted to set up their first challenge during onboarding, rather than after they’ve completed onboarding
  • Minor cosmetic improvements to chat detail dialog

Thanks for taking the time to read through. Templates have opened up a whole new world for us, and we’d love to hear from you about which templates you’d like to see next! Let us know if there’s anything you’re looking to achieve with a challenge that you’d like some template guidance on. This is only the beginning 🚀

Cheers,

Hannah
