Framework weekly product update email — June 9th, 2022

Dear Friends of Framework,

Greetings from NYC! 🌇 This week we made a bunch of improvements to the experience of launching, publishing, and sharing a challenge. Check out the highlights:

👀 Share Challenges pages publicly!

  • Admins can now toggle their Challenges page visibility to “Public” to allow them to surface their directory of available of challenges to anyone—rather than only authenticated members!

🎉 Celebration pop-up after a challenge is published

  • Perhaps most importantly, we are thrilled to announce that the first confetti animations have officially entered Framework.
Admins now get a celebratory pop up with confetti and sharing options after publishing a challenge.

💬 Improvements to space UX

  • The Home page feed previously served two purposes: 1) aggregating posts from other spaces in one place and serving as a Space itself. This was causing some confusion, so we separated these two use cases into distinct pages.
  • There is now a new "Community" space for each community. All community-wide posts will now live in this space, while the Home page feed will serve only as an aggregation of posts from other spaces.

✔️ Confirmation screen when un-publishing a challenge

  • Admins now get a confirmation screen if they update the status of their challenge to unpublished.

🔗 Easily share a challenge from the challenge builder

  • There’s now a far more accessible “Share” button available to Admins from the challenge builder.

🤳🏻 Improved challenge editing on mobile

  • Customer onboarding on mobile used to be a poor experience, so we made some big improvements to our navigation to accommodate the small screen size.

🐛 Bugs squashed and small changes

  • Resolved instances of public course preview not working for some communities
  • Corrected differences in lesson layout caused by adding a component
  • Made adjustments to the post editor and viewer padding and max width
  • Added a more prominent "Add Space" button in challenge builder
