Framework weekly product update email — May 20th, 2022

Dear Friends of Framework,

We’re hard at work on a new kind of component that we think will take the challenge community experience to another level 🤫 In the meantime, we had a spring cleaning week 🧹 and made a bunch of usability improvements:

🪣 Challenge navigation UX improvements

  • The challenge left navigation behaves more intuitively now! Specifically, we cleaned up the UX to make sure that challenge contents expand, collapse, and highlight when they should.

📈 Beta: Enhanced Challenge analytics

  • We want to give Admins the ability to see challenge analytics and answer the following questions: How many members have started a challenge? Among those who have started the challenge, what percent have completed each lesson, component and moment? And for individual members within a challenge, what percentage of the challenge's lessons, components, and moments were completed or not? As a first iteration of this, Admins can navigate to the Member Analytics in their Challenge drop down menu in the Challenges page to see a beta version of this more in-depth dashboard.

👨‍🎨 Split screen UI improvements

  • We now truncate lesson names and component names to one line of text. Additionally, all component titles now have a 90 character limit.
  • Component time estimates now show up on the home page checklist.

🐛 Bugs squashed

  • Disabled auto scroll when opening lesson page.
  • Resolved UX issues with form responses appearing hidden at the bottom of the page.
  • Members no longer automatically join events or receive event emails after purchasing a product that includes events.
  • Users can no longer access challenge components ahead of the start date.
  • Fixed instances of the Upsell’s “Learn more” button not being visible
